A Day in the Life

Today I woke up next to my husband, Augustus. He had to leave early, but I spent time resting after he left. Because he was busy, I spent time by myself. Soon I joined my friend Julia and we spent time walking in the gardens, talking about the public affairs. We ate lunch on the terrace, and then I took a small nap on the patio. I then spent the rest of the day around the house, having my slaves wait on me and spending the day lazily and happily. When Augustus returned, we spent time talking about the people he associated with, the people of the city. I enjoyed spending time with him and my friends. I went to bed early, tired from the day's affairs.
